Collaborative. Ever-learning. Positive.
I write plays to entertain and inspire.
Storytelling With Heart.
I am a collaborative, ever-learning playwright who looks for the positive in an often-negative world. I have been a storyteller throughout my adult life, whether working as a newspaper reporter, pastor, freelance writer, or playwright, and I am drawn to stories that inspire people to work to make the world a better place.
From the Newsroom to the Theatre
I studied journalism at Northwestern University, theology at Wesley Theological Seminary, and theater at Villanova University. I am a native of Wilmington, Delaware, and have lived in Illinois, California, the District of Columbia, and Maryland. I now live in a small town in Delaware.
Committed to the Craft
I am an alumnus of The Foundry, a playwright support organization for emerging Philadelphia-area playwrights. In 2026, I was awarded an Established Artist Fellowship from the Delaware Division of the Arts.
